My name is Aurélie Spadone. I am working at IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) in Switzerland.
I joined the Global Marine and Polar Programme in November 2010 and I am taking part in this expedition in the context of the IUCN-led southwest Indian Ocean Seamounts project. You can find more info on the project website (see the Links on the right-hand side of the webpage).
My role on board: I am in charge of this expedition blog (so that you can Follow us!) and I am taking part in the scientific work (Remotely Operated Vehicle watch and physical oceanography measurements mainly).
Let me tell you a little bit more ...
I am 31. I live in Switzerland next to the beautiful lake of Geneva.
Have you been there?
